Responsibilities:

  • Review engineering requirement and design documents, create and maintain test strategy, test plan and test specification.
  • Design and execute test cases, analyze the results of test execution.
  • Develop automation test cases.
  • Develop, implement and update test tools.
  • Use internal system to perform bug tracking and test case management.
  • Coach, train and mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QE teams at US, Canada and India;
  • Coordinate on-site or off-site contractors.
  • Verifying development milestones

Requirements:

  • 4+ years working experience on enterprise software, including 3+ years testing Java client-server application.
  • JUnit & Cactus experience
  • Administrative experience on popular Database and Application servers such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Weblogic, Websphere
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and automation testing Java applications
  • Experience writing thorough test plans following a defined methodology
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred skills:

  • Quick Test Pro (QTP) testing or equivalent white-box test tool
  • Experience on testing of any kind of workflow product, or upgrade testing of enterprise system.
